This simple to install room thermostat allows the householder to set the temperature to their desired comfort level and has a digital display of the current room temperature. The modulating operation gives a greater level of heating comfort.
When used with the GENUS range of boilers the thermostat can be used to turn the boiler OFF or to set it to continuous operation i.e. on all day and night. At night the temperature can be reduced to improve efficiency (night time set back).
When installing a new, replacement or upgraded central heating system a room thermostat is a mandatory requirement under Part L of the Building Regulations.
Technical Characteristics
The modulating room sensor requires the use of a BUS interface, (Code: 3318229).
Functions:
OFF - Heating switched off and anti-freeze function enabled
TIMER - Heating in accordance with the boiler settings
MANUAL - Continuous heating with night time set back
DIGIT DISPLAY - Current room temperature
BOILER OPERATION - Indicates when the boiler is operating
Power supply is via 2 x AA 1.5 V LR6 batteries. A warning is given when the batteries need replacing.
